Machine Operator

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate heavy machinery to perform cutting, punching, forming, and processing operations
• Operate CNC-controlled machines including presses, lasers, and rolling mills
• Perform routine preventive maintenance, adjustments, and lubrication on equipment
• Interpret blueprints, specifications, and technical data to select correct materials
• Inspect work visually for defects according to Quality Systems
• Mark part numbers and attach identification tags to products
• Maintain continuous improvement practices and suggest cost-saving ideas

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent (GED)
• Minimum one year of manufacturing or comparable work experience
• Minimum one year operating manufacturing machinery or equipment
• Ability to read a tape measure and use measuring gauges
• Proficiency with hand tools, wrenches, banding equipment, and nail guns
• Basic computer skills
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds continually above shoulder height and below the waist
• Flexibility to work overtime and weekends

Preferred Qualifications

• Forklift experience
• Crane experience
