Machine Operator

Responsibilities

• Safely operate roll formers, coil slitters, and flat sheet shears
• Visually inspect produced panels against specifications to ensure defect-free products
• Install panel dies during tooling changes and adjust to specifications
• Enter production quantities for each order into the computer system
• Operate a forklift to position coils at the un-coiler
• Operate overhead cranes to load coil stock
• Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment

Requirements

• Experience working in a manufacturing or production environment
• Ability to operate a forklift
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively
• High school diploma or GED
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repetitively
• Ability to stand or walk for at least 7.5 hours per shift
• Ability to tolerate extreme temperature changes
