Machine Operator

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate heavy machinery and related gauges for cutting, punching, forming, and processing
• Perform routine preventive maintenance, adjustments, and lubrication on equipment
• Interpret blueprints, specifications, and technical data to select correct materials
• Mark part numbers, order numbers, and piece counts on parts
• Maintain continuous improvement practices in the work area
• Adhere to all safety rules and precautions in a manufacturing environment

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent (GED)
• Minimum of one year of related manufacturing experience
• Experience with hand tools, wrenches, banding equipment, and nail guns
• Ability to use measuring gauges and read a tape measure
• Basic computer skills and good communication skills
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds continually
• Ability to stand and walk for 8-12 hours daily

Preferred Qualifications

• Forklift experience
• Crane experience
