Machine Operator

Responsibilities

• Operate precision manufacturing equipment for boring, turning, balancing, and coating products
• Read and interpret blueprints, work orders, and engineering specifications
• Verify dimensions and tolerances using precision measuring tools such as micrometers, calipers, and bore gauges
• Monitor machine operations and make necessary adjustments to maintain quality and efficiency
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment
• Work collaboratively with team members and supervisors to meet production goals
• Operate a hoist to move rollers between operations

Requirements

• Ability to read and comprehend manufacturing instructions
• Intermediate computer skills
• Basic math skills and a strong understanding of tolerances
• Good verbal communication skills for team and supervisor interaction
• Safety-minded and disciplined in following all safety protocols
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods
• Manual dexterity to handle various tools and components
