Machine Operator

Responsibilities

• Perform set-up and operation of automated equipment and peripheral hardware according to work instructions
• Load electronic components, raw cards, feeders, fixtures, stencils, and chemicals
• Monitor equipment operation and initiate adjustments to maintain established control limits
• Inspect production quality levels and initiate rework or repair activities for substandard products
• Monitor shelf-life usage of perishable chemicals and moisture-sensitive parts
• Record data for statistical process control and inventory management
• Perform preventive maintenance and sequential shutdown/cleaning of equipment

Requirements

• High school degree or equivalent
• Minimum of 5+ years of machine operator experience or experience in a related area
• Ability to read and comprehend moderately complex instructions
• Basic mathematical proficiency, including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division using weight and distance
• Ability to operate and maintain various types of machinery
• Ability to present information effectively in one-on-one or small group settings
