Machine Operator

Responsibilities

• Perform set-up and operation of automated manufacturing equipment and peripheral hardware
• Load electronic components, raw cards, feeders, fixtures, stencils, and chemicals
• Monitor equipment operation and initiate adjustments to maintain established control limits
• Inspect production quality levels and initiate rework or repair activities for substandard products
• Perform preventive maintenance on automated equipment at specified intervals
• Record data required for statistical process control and inventory management
• Execute sequential start-up and shutdown procedures, including equipment cleaning

Requirements

• High school degree or equivalent
• Minimum of 5+ years of machine operator experience or experience in a related area
• Basic programming skills and ability to perform complex troubleshooting
• Ability to read and comprehend moderately complex instructions
• Proficiency in basic mathematics, including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division for weight and distance measurements
• Ability to operate and maintain a variety of machines
