Machine Operator

Responsibilities

• Perform laser welding using CO2 and YAG lasers, as well as manual and machine TIG welding
• Conduct quality control and continuous machine monitoring within a high-tech production environment
• Participate in the Alfa Laval Production System (ALPS), focusing on continuous improvement, 5S, and standardized work processes
• Work within a 6-shift production schedule to ensure manufacturing targets are met

Requirements

• Fluency in Swedish (both oral and written)
• Valid AM driving license
• Forklift license (Type A and B)
• Experience in industrial manufacturing or a similar production environment
• Technical or industrial high school education

Preferred Qualifications

• 2-3 years of technical education or equivalent experience in the machine shop industry
• Previous experience with manual and robotic welding
• Experience with Six Sigma or continuous improvement methodologies
• Possession of a crane/travers license
• A strong interest in technical systems and machinery
