Machine Operator

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate various machine tools to manufacture parts and mechanisms to exacting aerospace tolerances
• Interpret blueprints, sketches, and engineering specifications to determine sequences of operations
• Use precision measuring instruments and machinist's hand tools to ensure dimensional accuracy
• Produce parts using conventional or CNC mediums while monitoring product and process quality
• Perform routine minor machine maintenance, such as replacing filters and maintaining lubrication levels
• Support continuous product flow by moving materials within the manufacturing area and assisting team members

Requirements

• Active-duty service member within 180 days of separation
• Written Commander (O-4 or above) authorization for the SkillBridge program
• Completion of Workkeys Assessment or a High School Diploma/GED
• Ability to work any assigned shift
• Current work authorization for U.S. positions

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in a high-precision manufacturing or aerospace environment
• Previous experience with CNC machining or operating complex machine tools
• Formal apprenticeship or equivalent technical training
