Machine Operator 1

Responsibilities

• Operate various production machines including washers, furnaces, laser welders, and x-ray equipment to produce blades and vanes
• Perform daily standard work, including deburring, cleaning parts, and making minor offset changes
• Read and interpret process sheets and blueprints to assess product acceptance using measuring devices
• Document production information on check sheets and maintain dimensional data on run charts
• Perform Daily Total Preventative Maintenance (TPM) and clock labor in Solumina
• Maintain a clean and organized work area following 5S principles
• Move about the machine line frequently, involving bending, reaching, and transporting equipment up to 10 pounds

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED
• U.S. citizenship is required
• Previous manufacturing experience, manufacturing education, or an Advanced Manufacturing Certification

Preferred Qualifications

• 2 or more years of machine or manufacturing experience
