Machine Operator 1

Responsibilities

• Perform set-up, operation, and control of automated equipment and peripheral hardware
• Load electronic components, raw cards, feeders, fixtures, stencils, and chemicals
• Monitor equipment operation and initiate adjustments to maintain established control limits
• Inspect production quality levels and initiate rework or repair activities for substandard products
• Record data required for statistical process control and inventory management
• Perform preventive maintenance and sequential shutdown/cleaning of machinery

Requirements

• High school degree or equivalent
• 6-12 months of machine operator experience or experience in a related area
• Basic programming skills and complex troubleshooting abilities
• Mathematical proficiency, including the ability to perform operations using weight and distance
• Ability to read and comprehend moderately complex instructions
