Machine Maintenance Technician

Responsibilities

• Perform routine and preventive maintenance on mechanical, electrical, and automated systems to prevent unscheduled downtime
• Respond to and troubleshoot equipment breakdowns by diagnosing root causes using technical manuals and diagnostic tools
• Complete repairs on machinery, including dismantling equipment to replace defective parts using hand, power, and pneumatic tools
• Maintain CNC machines and utilize ladder logic processes to diagnose and repair faults
• Work with advanced control systems, including Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs), to troubleshoot automation sequences
• Maintain detailed and accurate records of all maintenance activities, inspections, and repairs
• Assist engineers with the initial setup and relocation of manufacturing equipment

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED
• 2-3 years of industrial maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment
• Knowledge of electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic circuits
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, diagrams, and technical manuals
• U.S. Citizenship required
• Ability to lift 50 pounds and meet physical requirements for pushing, pulling, and reaching

Preferred Qualifications

• Relevant certifications or technical training in industrial maintenance
• Knowledge of Siemens and/or Fanuc CNC Controls
• Experience with equipment rigging
• Ability to obtain a U.S. Government Security Clearance
