Machine Learning Manager

Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor, and inspire a team of ML research scientists and engineers
• Drive technical hiring, sourcing, interviewing, and onboarding
• Coach technical team members to develop new skills and ensure high quality
• Guide cross-functional project teams tackling complex scientific and engineering challenges
• Manage and optimize research workflows for frontier model scale
• Advocate for the research agenda internally and externally

Requirements

• PhD in Computer Science, Mathematics, or a relevant field
• 10+ years of experience in machine learning or deep learning
• 5+ years of experience leading projects and people
• Experience leading machine learning or deep learning research projects
• Experience in foundation models
• Strong alignment with the Scientist AI framework
• Advanced oral and written communication skills
