Machine Learning Engineer/Scientist

Responsibilities

• Design and develop machine learning computer models and algorithms for medical imaging, bioinformatics, and drug development applications.
• Conduct in-depth literature reviews on medical imaging, genomics, and drug analysis to evaluate complex machine learning applications.
• Perform analysis of cancer tissue images and protein-ligand binding affinity using advanced algorithms such as Alphafold3 and foundation models.
• Modify and tune existing programming modules to integrate with image management platforms for executing in-house AI models.
• Analyze results of machine learning algorithms, document findings, and prepare technical reports.

Requirements

• Undergraduate degree in Engineering or Applied Science.
• Minimum of one year of related experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Proficiency in Python or JavaScript.
• Knowledge of containerization tools such as Docker, Kubernetes, or Singularity.
• Familiarity with AWS services.
• Basic understanding of computer vision and image processing techniques.
• Commitment to enhancing awareness and skills related to equity, diversity, and inclusion.

Preferred Qualifications

• Solid grasp of intermediate algorithms and data structures.
• Experience in digital pathology, genomics, or drug development.
• Experience with Agile Development methodologies.
• Expertise in cloud software development, particularly with machine learning applications.
