About the role
Responsibilities
- Design and develop machine learning computer models and algorithms for medical imaging, bioinformatics, and drug development applications.
- Conduct in-depth literature reviews on medical imaging, genomics, and drug analysis to evaluate complex machine learning applications.
- Perform analysis of cancer tissue images and protein-ligand binding affinity using advanced algorithms such as Alphafold3 and foundation models.
- Modify and tune existing programming modules to integrate with image management platforms for executing in-house AI models.
- Analyze results of machine learning algorithms, document findings, and prepare technical reports.
Requirements
- Undergraduate degree in Engineering or Applied Science.
- Minimum of one year of related experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Proficiency in Python or JavaScript.
- Knowledge of containerization tools such as Docker, Kubernetes, or Singularity.
- Familiarity with AWS services.
- Basic understanding of computer vision and image processing techniques.
- Commitment to enhancing awareness and skills related to equity, diversity, and inclusion.
Preferred Qualifications
- Solid grasp of intermediate algorithms and data structures.
- Experience in digital pathology, genomics, or drug development.
- Experience with Agile Development methodologies.
- Expertise in cloud software development, particularly with machine learning applications.
