Machine Learning Engineer

Responsibilities

• Developing machine learning models and custom analytics for image, video, text, geospatial, time series, and structured data
• Orchestrating and automating complex data engineering and analytic pipelines
• Envisioning, specifying, and implementing core product functionality
• Conducting mission-critical fieldwork in support of customers and stakeholders

Requirements

• BS degree in computer science, machine learning, or a related discipline
• 2+ years of relevant experience
• Experience with data-centric systems (data engineering, ETL, machine learning)
• Proficiency in software engineering fundamentals (algorithms, data structures, design patterns)
• Proficiency in at least one systems programming language (Go, Rust, C++, Java, Scala, etc.)
• Proficiency in Python and exposure to TensorFlow, PyTorch, or scikit-learn
• Exposure to Agile, version control, CI/CD, and debugging
• Active Secret (or above) US security clearance
• US citizenship required

Preferred Qualifications

• Advanced degree in data science, machine learning, or computer science
• Deep knowledge of TensorFlow, PyTorch, or scikit-learn
• Knowledge of client-server architectures (REST, GraphQL, asynchronous programming)
• Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, or cloud architectures
• Experience with machine learning applied to imagery or video data
• Experience building agentic systems or AI agents
• Experience delivering technology solutions in secure government environments
