Machine Learning Engineer

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and productionize machine learning models for core Ads Platform systems, including ad ranking, prediction, and delivery
• Apply cutting-edge ML techniques to improve marketplace efficiency, ad relevance, and advertiser outcomes at scale
• Lead the end-to-end ML lifecycle, including problem framing, data analysis, model development, online experimentation, and production deployment
• Collaborate with cross-functional engineering, product, and data teams to launch and scale ML-powered features

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in a relevant technical field (e.g., Computer Science) or equivalent practical experience
• 3+ years of post-Bachelor's machine learning experience (or Master's + 2 years, or a PhD)
• Experience developing machine learning models for ranking, recommendations, search, or content understanding
• Strong understanding of machine learning algorithms and the ability to solve ambiguous problems

Preferred Qualifications

• Advanced degree in Computer Science or a related field
• Proficiency with ML frameworks such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, Caffe2, Spark ML, or scikit-learn
• Experience with machine learning ranking infrastructures and system design
