Machine Learning Engineer

Responsibilities

• Architect, design, develop, test, and deploy on-device prototype software for cutting-edge Generative AI use cases at the edge
• Work within a multi-disciplinary team of researchers and software engineers in a dynamic research environment
• Focus on advancing Gen AI technology for the edge, including model fine-tuning, hardware acceleration, model quantization, and edge inference
• Apply modern software engineering best practices to enable on-device AI

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field
• 3+ years of relevant work experience
• Strong Python and C/C++ design and implementation skills
• Deep learning and ML framework knowledge (e.g., PyTorch)
• Experience in Embedded Software development
• Strong software design skills with a focus on usability
• Strong analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Knowledge of Generative AI (GenAI) technologies
• Experience with neural network model optimization and on-target deployment
• Knowledge of NPUs and ML accelerators
• Experience with Docker, Git, and CI/CD
• Knowledge of Android programming
• Proficiency in Java
