Machine Learning Engineer

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and deploy machine learning models for fraud detection, credit risk, customer segmentation, and churn.
• Collaborate with global Risk, Fraud, Engineering, and Product teams to deliver data science products to Latam, South Africa, and APAC markets.
• Manage the full ML lifecycle, including feature generation, model rollout, deployment, and continuous monitoring.
• Handle large, complex datasets to clean, preprocess, and extract features that improve model accuracy.
• Write production-level code with rigorous documentation, testing, and peer reviews.
• Work with the ML Platform team to implement scalable feature extraction pipelines and deployment processes.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience in machine learning, data science, or data engineering with a track record of maintaining models in production.
• High proficiency in Python and libraries such as Scikit-Learn and Pandas.
• Comprehensive knowledge of the ML lifecycle, from data extraction to model serving and monitoring.
• Experience with cloud providers (AWS preferred) and containerization tools like Docker.
• Strong English verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment with evolving requirements.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in credit risk modeling or fraud detection within the financial sector.
• Hands-on experience with Databricks for developing and monitoring ML workflows at scale.
