Responsibilities

• Drive development of predictive systems to solve real-world agricultural challenges
• Conduct extensive literature reviews across machine learning and pasture science
• Own architectural design, dataset construction, training, and optimization of models
• Support machine learning pipelines in production and monitor system behavior
• Proactively deliver innovative ideas and creative technical solutions

Requirements

• Deep academic or professional background in machine learning (e.g., postgraduate degree in Math or CS)
• Experience designing, deploying, and monitoring ML systems in production
• Strong causal reasoning and ability to model real-world dynamics
• Proficiency in Python and working within complex, collaborative codebases
• Experience with high-volume, high-dimensional, and noisy datasets
• Proficiency with AI companion tools (e.g., Copilot, ChatGPT, Cursor)

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with advanced ML architectures such as Transformers or SSM
• Experience with agent-based systems or recommendation systems
• Knowledge of multi-modal time-series modeling or simulation systems
