Machine Learning Engineer

Responsibilities

• Work alongside world-class talent to find innovative solutions to buy-side problems
• Collaborate with Technology, Quantitative Research, Portfolio Manager, Risk, and Operations groups
• Dive deep into multiple data sets to understand relationships and develop time series and forecasting models
• Support quant strategies and provide new insights using state-of-the-art machine learning and advanced statistical methods
• Develop cutting-edge solutions to support the research process

Requirements

• Undergraduate or higher degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Operations Research, or a quantitative discipline
• 3+ years of hands-on experience with Machine Learning and Statistics on large, unstructured data sets
• Full-stack experience with Python (preferred) or C++, Spark/Scala, and SQL
• Experience with distributed data processing technologies
• Experience building and deploying services and models in containerized environments
• Experience with scientific computing, statistics, optimization, time series, or panel data
• Ability to communicate research findings to technical and nontechnical stakeholders

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience writing production code for multi-client systems serving model results
