Machine Learning Engineer Graduate

Responsibilities

• Participate in building large-scale e-commerce recommendation algorithms and systems for commodities, live streams, and short videos.
• Build long and short-term user interest models by analyzing and extracting information from massive datasets.
• Design, develop, and iterate on predictive models for candidate generation and ranking, such as CTR and CVR prediction.
• Support the production of scalable and optimized AI/ML models and build real-time data pipelines.
• Run experiments to test deployed model performance and resolve technical bugs.
• Design and build supporting tools for debugging and model deployment.

Requirements

• PhD in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Development, or a related technical discipline.
• Strong programming and problem-solving skills.
• Experience in applied machine learning with familiarity in algorithms like Collaborative Filtering, Matrix Factorization, Deep Neural Networks, or Gradient Boosting Trees.
• Proficiency in C++, Python, or an equivalent programming language.
• Hands-on experience with deep learning frameworks such as TensorFlow or PyTorch.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in recommendation systems, online advertising, information retrieval, or natural language processing.
• Experience with large-scale data mining.
• Publications in top-tier conferences such as KDD, NeurIPS, WWW, SIGIR, WSDM, ICML, IJCAI, AAAI, or RecSys.
• Proven track record in machine learning competitions like Kaggle or KDD Cup.
