Responsibilities

• Design and scale distributed data pipelines for preprocessing and dataset generation
• Own workflow orchestration, job scheduling, monitoring, and failure recovery
• Implement and maintain containerized pipeline infrastructure using Kubernetes
• Optimize cloud-based data storage and movement across AWS, GCS, or Azure
• Design curation pipelines for video and image content selection and filtering
• Build VLM-based captioning and metadata generation workflows at scale
• Develop quality and aesthetic scoring models and CLIP-based semantic filtering
• Build tooling for large-scale deduplication workflows
• Analyze dataset composition and iterate on curation logic to improve training outcomes

Requirements

• Strong experience building large-scale data systems and pipelines for machine learning
• Experience with distributed data processing frameworks like PySpark or Ray
• Proficiency with orchestration tools such as Airflow
• Familiarity with Docker and Kubernetes
• Experience with cloud-based data storage and compute (AWS, GCS, or Azure)
• Experience with VLM-based captioning pipelines or quality/aesthetic scoring models
• Familiarity with CLIP-based or embedding-based filtering techniques
• Familiarity with media processing tools like FFmpeg, OpenCV, or PyTorchVideo
• Proficiency in Python
