About the Company

Blissway is a startup that simplifies toll collection and dramatically improves highway safety. We are a lean team of less than 30 people operating across Deep Tech, AI/ML, Hardware, SaaS, and IoT, building a technological lead in the tolling industry.

Responsibilities

• Own the full ML pipeline from raw sensor data to production inference, including collection, dataset curation, training, deployment, and monitoring
• Develop computer vision models for detection, segmentation, classification, embeddings, and re-identification
• Implement both cloud-based and edge-based inference solutions, optimizing for speed and power efficiency on roadside hardware
• Apply both classical computer vision algorithms and state-of-the-art deep learning models to solve real-world problems
• Iterate on models based on real-world performance and data from 11 million daily images

Requirements

• 2 to 6 years of software engineering experience with a focus on machine learning or computer vision
• Proven experience taking models from raw data to production environments
• Strong software engineering fundamentals and production-quality coding skills
• Deep understanding of modern computer vision techniques and classical CV algorithms
• Ability to work in a high-intensity, fast-paced startup environment

Preferred Qualifications

• Proficiency in Python or TypeScript
• Experience with edge computing and deploying models to hardware constraints
