Machine Learning Engineer

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and implement advanced machine learning and AI solutions to detect financial crime and prevent fraud.
• Build scalable ML pipelines, agentic AI systems, and production-grade model code.
• Collaborate with technology teams to specify data dependencies, development environments, and tools.
• Implement analytics and models into stable, well-tested software and operationalize them within the ML lifecycle.
• Ensure all development activities comply with Enterprise Risk Management Policies and Model Risk Policy.
• Provide ongoing support for the effectiveness of modeling solutions and maintain comprehensive documentation.

Requirements

• Extensive experience in machine learning development, including training and deploying models at scale.
• Proficiency in Python programming.
• Experience with distributed data processing frameworks such as Spark.
• Hands-on experience with deep learning and NLP frameworks like PyTorch or Hugging Face.
• Solid understanding of software engineering principles and MLOps/LLMOps practices.
• Proven track record of owning and delivering end-to-end ML projects and managing stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with LLMs and agentic AI systems using frameworks like LangGraph, CrewAI, or AWS Bedrock.
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) or ML platforms like Databricks.
• Background in fraud detection, anti-money laundering, or anomaly detection.
• Experience leading machine learning engineering or development teams.
• Understanding of model risk management and regulatory controls within financial services.
