About the role
Responsibilities
- Design and develop machine functional safety service offerings including risk assessment and safety concept development
- Interpret machine safety standards such as ISO 12100, ISO 13849, and IEC 62061 to shape service scope
- Support customer engagement and solution selling by providing technical input and proposal development
- Train internal teams on machinery risk assessment, functional safety concepts, and Performance Level/SIL principles
- Conduct market intelligence to understand customer requirements and regulatory trends
- Provide technical guidance on hazard identification, risk reduction, and safety-related control systems
- Coordinate with regional experts and technology partners to align technical capability and assessment execution
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical, Electronic, Mechanical, Mechatronics, Automation, Control, or Safety Engineering
- Experience in machine safety, functional safety, industrial automation, or machinery design
- Understanding of customer requirements within E&E or manufacturing industries
- Knowledge of machine safety standards like ISO 12100, ISO 13849, and IEC 62061
- Exposure to PLC, safety relays, robotics, or production machinery
- Ability and willingness to travel up to 50% for customer meetings and site assessments
