Machine Division Business Leader

Responsibilities

• Lead the overall performance of all functional areas, driving business growth and achieving budgeted results.
• Manage a team of functional department managers and oversee a workforce of approximately 25 employees.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to reduce costs, improve on-time delivery, and enhance safety and customer satisfaction.
• Review production costs and product quality, modifying inventory control programs to maintain profitable operations.
• Develop financial plans, manage the P&L, and provide timely reporting of key metrics to executive leadership.
• Implement Lean Manufacturing and visual factory concepts to increase productivity and quality.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA, environmental, and various regulatory agency standards.
• Manage site leadership, including capital investment implementation and plant budget development.

Requirements

• Proven track record as an experienced leader with increasing levels of responsibility.
• Bachelor’s Degree is required; Mechanical Engineering is preferred.
• Proficiency in Lean Manufacturing techniques and the ability to teach them to others.
• Technical expertise in materials management, inventory management, production scheduling, and preventive maintenance.
• Experience with Web Management processes and industry-specific processing equipment.
• Strong understanding of ISO 9001 Quality systems, corrective actions, and continuous improvement.
• Proficiency in SolidWorks, Microsoft Word, and Microsoft Excel.
• Excellent interpersonal, communication, and project management skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• MBA degree.
• Experience in a highly engineered machinery manufacturing environment.
