Machine Design Engineer

Responsibilities

• Work independently and collaboratively to design and develop new ideas and improve existing products
• Assume responsibility for all aspects of engineering including design development, analysis, testing, and refining
• Create drawings for components and assemblies
• Maintain proper documentation
• Occasionally work with sales or service to address customer issues

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering
• Job experience or internships related to job field
• Strong technical base in 3D CAD and engineering fundamentals
• Willingness to travel
• Ability to work a 45-hour work week

• Natural curiosity and a desire to learn
• Comfort working in a shop setting
• Strong interpersonal communication and organizational skills
• Positive, cooperative attitude under pressure
