About the role
Responsibilities
- Design and develop new ideas and improve existing products
- Manage all aspects of engineering for assigned products including design development and analysis
- Test and refine products in a shop setting
- Create detailed drawings for components and assemblies
- Maintain proper engineering documentation
- Collaborate with sales or service teams to address customer issues
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering
- Job experience or internships related to the field
- Strong technical base in 3D CAD and engineering fundamentals
- Willingness to travel
- Ability to work a 45-hour work week
Preferred Qualifications
- Natural curiosity and a desire to learn
- Comfort working in a shop setting
- Strong interpersonal communication and organizational skills
- Positive, cooperative attitude under pressure
