About the role
Responsibilities
- Consult, conceptualize, and implement machine connectivity solutions in industrial environments
- Integrate machines, equipment, and production lines with SAP Digital Manufacturing, SAP APM, SAP BTP, and IoT architectures
- Design and realize OT/IT integration architectures using technologies such as OPC UA, MQTT, REST, and edge computing
- Analyze shop floor and automation landscapes to derive sustainable connectivity strategies
- Conduct OT/IT workshops with business units, IT, and automation teams
- Contribute to presales activities, including solution concepts, architecture designs, and effort estimates
- Collaborate in international project teams to develop standards, templates, and best practices
Requirements
- Experience in integrating machines and equipment within industrial environments (OT/IT)
- Technical knowledge of machine connectivity protocols such as OPC UA, MQTT, or REST
- Strong understanding of production processes, automation technology, and industrial IT architectures
- Proficiency in both German and English (written and spoken)
- Structured, solution-oriented working style with the ability to handle complex technical challenges
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with SAP Digital Manufacturing, SAP APM, SAP BTP, or IoT platforms
- Background in customer consulting, workshops, or technical project work
