Machine Brake Operator 4

Responsibilities

• Interpret technical drawings to understand required bends, angles, and tolerances for metal parts
• Operate press brake machinery to bend metal sheets according to programmed settings
• Measure and inspect finished parts to ensure they meet dimensional tolerances and quality standards
• Identify and resolve production issues, such as machine malfunctions or material defects
• Perform routine maintenance, including cleaning and lubrication of the press brake
• Adhere to all safety procedures and wear required personal protective equipment

Requirements

• 1-2 years of experience as a Brake Operator
• Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications
• Strong understanding of press brake mechanics and setting adjustments
• Ability to perform precise measurements and manipulate metal sheets accurately
• High school degree or equivalent preferred
