Machine Assembler

Responsibilities

• Assemble mechanical components and machines according to engineering drawings, part lists, blueprints, and hydraulic, electrical, or pneumatic schematics
• Use precision tools such as torque wrenches, depth gauges, dial indicators, and digital levels to achieve required tolerances
• Operate overhead cranes to move heavy components during the assembly process
• Adhere to TRUMPF Quality Standards and maintain an organized work area following lean principles
• Follow all safety protocols and use appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE)
• Read, convert, and measure in both imperial (inch) and metric systems
• Collaborate with supervisors and colleagues to achieve team goals and contribute to process improvements

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of assembly experience or 5 years of manufacturing experience (machine tool parts, maintenance, or service)
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings
• Proficiency with precision measuring devices and tools
• Mechanical inclination and strong attention to detail
• Physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds without aid and perform repetitive reaching and bending

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with electrical wiring assembly
• Computer literacy
• Valid forklift license
