Responsibilities

• Perform pre-use inspections of cutting equipment and prepare cutting torches or spears
• Verify conditions of hoses, connections, and gas pressure gauges
• Execute scrap metal cutting and control scrap discharge in the oxy-cutting area
• Inspect materials for contamination such as chemicals, hydrocarbons, grease, oil, or hazardous residues
• Accept clean materials for cutting including coils, sheets, metal structures, rails, and beams
• Maintain cleanliness and conservation of tools, equipment, and the work area
• Report environmental, health, and safety deviations to immediate supervisors

Requirements

• Completed Elementary School (Ensino Fundamental)
• Proven professional experience documented in work booklet (CTPS)
