Responsibilities

• Perform pre-use inspections of cutting equipment and prepare cutting torches or spears
• Verify conditions of hoses, connections, and gas pressure gauges
• Execute scrap metal cutting using oxy-cutting techniques
• Inspect and control scrap discharge in the oxy-cutting area
• Identify and prevent contamination from chemicals, hydrocarbons, grease, oil, or other hazardous materials
• Ensure cleanliness and conservation of tools, equipment, and the work area
• Report environmental, health, and safety deviations to immediate supervisors

Requirements

• Completed elementary education (Ensino Fundamental)
• Proven professional experience documented in work booklet (CTPS)
