Responsibilities

• Perform pre-use inspections of cutting equipment and prepare cutting torches or spears
• Verify conditions of hoses, connections, and gas pressure gauges
• Execute scrap metal cutting using oxy-cutting techniques
• Inspect and control scrap discharge in the oxy-cutting area
• Verify the absence of sealed vessels or contaminated scrap (chemicals, hydrocarbons, grease, oil, etc.) to ensure safety
• Accept materials for cutting such as coils, sheets, metal structures, rails, and beams
• Maintain cleanliness and conservation of tools, equipment, and the work area
• Communicate environmental, health, and safety deviations to immediate supervisors

Requirements

• Completed Elementary School (Ensino Fundamental)
• Proven professional experience documented in work booklet (CTPS)
