Responsibilities

• Perform pre-use inspections of cutting equipment and prepare cutting torches or spears
• Verify conditions of hoses, connections, and gas pressure gauges
• Execute scrap metal cutting using oxy-cutting processes
• Inspect and control scrap discharge in the oxy-cutting area
• Verify the absence of sealed vessels, gas cylinders, or contaminated scrap (chemicals, oils, rubber, etc.)
• Accept clean materials for cutting such as coils, sheets, and metal structures
• Maintain cleanliness and conservation of tools, equipment, and work areas
• Report environmental, health, and safety deviations to immediate supervisors

Requirements

• Completed Elementary School (Ensino Fundamental)
• Proven professional experience documented in work booklet (CTPS)
