MAC System Administrator

Responsibilities

• Deploy, manage, and support macOS systems and software installations
• Enforce endpoint management policies, including configuration profiles, security baselines, and device encryption
• Perform macOS patching, system updates, and automation using Bash or AppleScript
• Manage user authentication and access controls in coordination with directory services
• Monitor performance and ensure security hardening using DoD-mandated configurations
• Coordinate data backups and recovery processes using approved solutions
• Conduct compliance audits and maintain an accurate inventory of Apple hardware and software
• Serve as a subject matter expert for macOS best practices

Requirements

• U.S. Citizenship and an active DoD Top Secret Clearance
• BA/BS in Computer Science or IT with 2+ additional years of experience, OR 5+ years of relevant IT/Service Desk experience
• IAT Level II Certification (e.g., CompTIA Security+ CE, CCNA Security, GICSP, GSEC, or SSCP)
• macOS certification (Apple Certified Support Professional) or equivalent

Preferred Qualifications

• ITIL v4 certification
• Experience with incident management within the ServiceNow ITSM platform
• Experience working in a Department of Defense (DoD) environment
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office products and technical documentation creation
• Strong troubleshooting skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
