M&A Tax Advisory Leader

Responsibilities

• Lead the firm’s M&A Tax function, guiding strategy, execution, and growth
• Advise private equity firms and corporate clients on tax implications of acquisitions, divestitures, reorganizations, and joint ventures
• Oversee and lead due diligence, identifying and quantifying key tax exposures
• Design and implement tax-efficient structures for complex domestic and cross-border transactions
• Collaborate with Transaction Services, Tax, Accounting Advisory, Restructuring, and Business Transformation teams
• Drive revenue growth by cultivating client relationships and originating opportunities
• Lead and mentor a team of MDs and senior professionals
• Represent Riveron externally as a thought leader in M&A tax and deal advisory

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field
• 15+ years of progressive tax experience with a focus on M&A/transactions tax
• Background in transaction tax at Big 4, national advisory, or boutique transactions tax practice
• Extensive experience advising on buy-side and sell-side transactions
• Deep relationships with private equity firms and corporate executives
• Proven ability to originate and grow client engagements
• Demonstrated track record of managing and mentoring senior professionals

Preferred Qualifications

• Master’s in taxation
• JD/LLM
• CPA license
