M&A Fin & Ops Manager

Responsibilities

• Lead finance integration and separation activities across the transaction lifecycle for corporate and private equity clients
• Partner with senior executives to align M&A strategies with corporate growth objectives
• Manage day-to-day engagement execution, including team coordination, stakeholder communication, and deliverable review
• Lead workstreams related to financial close, reporting, planning, forecasting, treasury, and tax coordination
• Develop playbooks, analyses, and client-ready recommendations to support carve-out and value capture objectives
• Support business development through proposals, market research, and internal practice initiatives

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree
• 6+ years of consulting or industry experience (or MBA with 4+ years of experience)
• 6+ years of experience in M&A service delivery, including Day 1 planning, financial consolidation, or separation planning
• 6+ years of experience managing M&A engagements, including scope definition and lifecycle execution
• 6+ years of experience leading M&A workstreams (e.g., treasury, tax, or financial reporting)
• 5+ years of experience in accounting, finance, controllership, FP&A, or treasury
• Ability to travel 50% on average

Preferred Qualifications

• MBA, CPA, CFA, or other advanced professional degree
• Experience working within a professional services consulting firm
• Proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint for executive presentations and Microsoft Visio for process documentation
• Experience in business process reengineering or operational performance improvement
• Experience mentoring junior practitioners
