M365 Tenant, Teams & Messaging Administrator - AVP

Responsibilities

• Monitor and maintain critical technology infrastructure to ensure the reliability, scalability, and security of the Microsoft 365 platform.
• Provide L3 technical support to resolve complex incidents and minimize operational disruption.
• Execute preventative maintenance tasks and utilize monitoring tools to identify and address potential performance issues.
• Automate operational processes and implement monitoring enhancements to drive efficiency and stability.
• Analyze system logs and error messages to perform root cause analysis for hardware, software, and network issues.
• Maintain detailed technical documentation and a knowledge base for future reference and knowledge sharing.
• Identify and remediate service-impacting risks while strengthening controls and governance.
• Lead collaborative assignments, guide team members, and influence decision-making regarding operational effectiveness.

Requirements

• Considerable experience with the M365 Product Suite, including Teams, SharePoint Online, and Exchange Online.
• Hands-on administration experience with Microsoft Azure / Entra and M365 services, including Entra ID synchronization and access management.
• Advanced PowerShell scripting skills for automating and optimizing operational processes.
• Relevant Microsoft certifications (e.g., M365 Fundamentals, M365 Security Administrator, or Enterprise Administrator Expert).
• MS-700 (Managing Microsoft Teams) certification or equivalent professional experience.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Hybrid identity management and multi-layered Active Directory (AD) synchronization scenarios.
• Proficiency in managing Conditional Access Policies and Role-Based Access Control (RBAC) within Azure.
• Background working in financial services or other highly regulated environments with strict compliance requirements.
