M365 and Exchange Engineer IV

Responsibilities

• Act as the technical lead for the M365 and email engineering team
• Define and drive technical strategy for Microsoft 365 and email platforms
• Provide expert-level support for Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint, and related components
• Manage and maintain on-premises Exchange environments and hybrid configurations
• Lead complex troubleshooting and root cause analysis for messaging and collaboration issues
• Mentor and coach junior engineers to foster technical growth and best practices
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement secure, scalable solutions
• Stay current with emerging technologies to enhance system performance and reliability

Requirements

• 7+ years of professional experience in engineering and administration
• Bachelor's degree, applicable certification, or equivalent experience
• Extensive expertise in Microsoft 365, Exchange Online, and hybrid deployments
• Proficiency in PowerShell and MS Graph for scripting, automation, and configuration management
• Strong knowledge of Active Directory and Entra identity (Groups, Users, Security roles)
• Advanced skills in troubleshooting complex mail flow and 3rd party app integrations
• Proven ability to design and implement technical strategies for enterprise messaging systems
• Ability to work an IST schedule with PST overlap (12:30-9:30pm IST) and participate in rotating 24x7 on-call

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience administering Microsoft Intune
