M&E Sourcing Manager

Responsibilities

• Lead client calls to review meeting needs and ensure programs exceed requirements
• Negotiate pricing and package details with suppliers to meet client savings expectations
• Conduct RFPs with hotels and suppliers to secure room blocks and logistical needs
• Manage end-to-end project logistics, including re-negotiations or cancellation negotiations
• Maintain accurate records and collaborate with accounting to supervise billing and expenses
• Evaluate program impact and outcomes to build plans for continuous improvement
• Develop positive relationships with clients, suppliers, and internal support departments

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in meeting management, hotel procurement, or an equivalent field
• Proficiency with Cvent
• Extensive knowledge of domestic destinations (international experience is a plus)
• Proficient in Microsoft Office
• Ability to travel as needed
• Excellent listening skills and a consultative approach to client needs

• CMP designation
