M & E Officer

Responsibilities

• Establish and strengthen monitoring and learning systems to improve project implementation quality.
• Manage data collection, data management, and data analysis processes.
• Prepare monthly and annual reports in partnership with field teams and project partners.
• Conduct research activities and intensive assessments, including baseline, midline, and final evaluations.
• Build the capacity of project staff, local stakeholders, and community members in data collection and analysis.
• Lead data analysis using SPSS or other statistical software.
• Document success stories and publish promotional materials to showcase project achievements.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in development management, social science, or a related field.
• Specialized degree or formal training in monitoring and evaluation (M&E) or program/project planning.
• At least 3 years of experience in program/project planning, design, monitoring, and evaluation.
• Demonstrated competency in designing and implementing assessments and evaluations, including methodology and tool development.
• Proficiency in using statistical software such as SPSS for data analysis.
• Excellent communication and training skills with experience in delivering training to diverse groups.
