M&E Analyst

Responsibilities

• Design and strengthen monitoring, inspection, and evaluation procedures and frameworks
• Develop logical frameworks, leading indicators, and monitoring strategies for project success
• Monitor and evaluate project activities to track progress toward desired outputs and results
• Manage data collection, storage, and cleaning to ensure accuracy and reliability for analysis
• Conduct qualitative and quantitative research, including capacity assessments of existing M&E systems
• Analyze data to extract actionable insights and compile findings into periodic reports for stakeholders
• Provide evidence-based recommendations to improve project efficiency and effectiveness
• Coordinate with external researchers, agencies, and internal stakeholders to execute M&E projects
• Build the M&E capacity of team members through training and support

Requirements

• Proven experience in the Monitoring and Evaluation (M&E) field
• Mandatory experience working within the social sector
• Strong skills in conducting qualitative and quantitative research
• Proficiency in data cleaning and in-depth data analysis
• Basic understanding of R, Python, and SQL
• Ability to present research findings using concise tables, charts, and data visualization skills
• Excellent communication and coordination skills
• Ability to apply first-principle thinking and analytical intuition

Preferred Qualifications

• Educational or professional background in the Education or EdTech sectors
• Experience with theory of change and logical frameworks
