M&A Director (Vice President) – M&T/FIG

Responsibilities

• Assist in the origination and execution of media, telecom, and FIG M&A transactions for domestic and foreign corporate and private equity clients
• Manage major workstreams of M&A transactions, including diligence, financial projections, and client deliverables
• Independently prepare, interpret, and discuss complex analytical data
• Present to internal and external clients effectively and with confidence
• Collaborate with global colleagues to ensure seamless transaction execution
• Generate creative approaches and new ideas to drive business growth
• Maintain sound and balanced judgments within professional, ethical, and regulatory standards

Requirements

• Proven experience in originating and executing public and private M&A transactions
• Deep understanding of M&A structuring
• Ability to work effectively with both corporate and private equity clients
• Strong analytical skills and proficiency in all relevant financial analyses
• Demonstrated track record of taking initiative and managing teams
• Undergraduate degree is required

Preferred Qualifications

• MBA or JD degree
