LV Switchgear Expeditor

Responsibilities

• Coordinate the efficient flow of materials and products throughout the purchasing, manufacturing, and assembly processes
• Read production schedules, inventory reports, and work orders to determine material requirements and order priority
• Locate and distribute materials to specified production areas on the manufacturing floor
• Work with internal departments and vendors to obtain updated material status updates
• Inform production supervisors of material status and consult on resolving shortages that could affect production
• Assist with manufacturing processes, including painting, assembling, and wiring of projects
• Maintain a clean and safe work area while adhering to PPE requirements

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• 1-2 years of experience in manufacturing, warehouse management, or a related field
• General understanding of blueprints, wiring drawings, schematics, or engineering diagrams
• Ability to operate powered equipment such as a forklift or reach truck
• Ability to lift up to 35 pounds and perform repetitive tasks while standing for prolonged periods
• Strong organizational, time management, and communication skills
