LV Switchgear Electrical Lead

Responsibilities

• Lead a team in the electrical assembly and wiring of low voltage switchgear components
• Oversee daily work assignments and delegate tasks based on team member skills
• Assist team members with technical issues and advanced problem-solving
• Inspect completed work to ensure quality and compliance
• Plan and assist with training and orientation for new team members
• Track and log worker time, materials, and resources for inventory purposes
• Maintain a clean, safe work area and ensure adherence to safety protocols
• Complete assemblies and sub-assemblies for manufacturing projects as needed

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• 4+ years of experience in manufacturing, assembly, or a related field
• Proven experience effectively leading a team of employees
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, engineering diagrams, and written directions
• Proficiency with basic tools such as tape measures and impact drills
• Basic math skills to meet technical specifications and measurements
• Knowledge of manufacturing processes, equipment maintenance, and safety management
• Ability to stand, bend, and kneel for prolonged periods and lift up to 35 pounds
