About the role
Responsibilities
- Support pupils during the lunchtime period to create a safe, calm, and positive environment
- Assist with the serving of meals and support children as they eat
- Encourage good table manners and independence among students
- Supervise pupils in the dining hall to ensure safety and wellbeing
- Work closely with teaching staff and the lunchtime team to ensure smooth service
- Follow all hygiene and allergy procedures strictly
Requirements
- Experience working with young children
- Confident communicator able to engage positively with pupils and colleagues
- Caring and patient approach to supporting children
- Strong sense of responsibility for safeguarding and pupil wellbeing
- Reliable, organized, and able to work both independently and as part of a team
