About the role
Responsibilities
- Attract and generate new lubricant business through strategic sales processes
- Manage a portfolio of strategic customers to optimize profitability, cash flow, and receivables
- Implement sales and marketing strategies to identify new business and support account growth
- Analyze sales results against goals and budgets, providing corrective action plans when necessary
- Act as a technical advisor, recommending optimal lubricants and equipment to meet customer needs
- Prepare and present marketing strategies, progress reports, and sales forecasts to management
- Maintain professional communication with customers, suppliers, and internal team members
- Monitor industry trends, competition, and marketplace information to identify product improvements
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent (Bachelor’s degree in sales or a related field preferred)
- 3+ years of experience in industrial sales
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and basic computer skills
- Valid driver's license
- Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work with a sense of urgency
