LPN/RN/Skilled Nursing/Assisted Living Floor Nurse

Responsibilities

• Follow individual service plans and administer or supervise physician-prescribed treatments
• Perform intramuscular and sub-cutaneous injections and record vital signs
• Document acute episodes or significant changes in resident status
• Prepare and administer prescribed medications and manage refills
• Complete admission assessments and discharge documentation
• Supervise residents with medication self-administration
• Provide assistance with activities of daily living including bathing, grooming, and dressing
• Maintain a safe working environment and adhere to community policies

Requirements

• Valid LPN or RN license
• High School Diploma or GED
• Knowledge of nursing theory, infection control, and OSHA standards
• Familiarity with medical diagnoses and medication side effects
• Ability to lift at least 51 lbs regularly
• Proficiency in operating computer-related tasks and software
• Fluency in English
