LPN/RN Skilled Nursing/Assisted Living Floor Nurse

Responsibilities

• Ensure individual service plans are followed and administer prescribed treatments
• Perform rounds to residents and record visits on charts
• Administer intramuscular and sub-cutaneous injections and take vital signs
• Document acute episodes or significant changes in resident status
• Handle preparation and administration of prescribed medications
• Supervise residents who self-administer medication
• Provide assistance with medication reminders, bathing, grooming, and dressing
• Maintain a safe working environment and adhere to community policies

Requirements

• Valid LPN or RN license
• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Knowledge of general nursing theory, infection control, and OSHA standards
• Ability to lift at least 51 lbs regularly
• Proficiency in operating computer-related tasks and software
• Ability to read, write, and speak English
• Valid TB test and CPR/BLS card
• Ability to pass a criminal background check and drug screen
