LPN/LVN

Responsibilities

• Perform clinical functions on the unit, incorporating the nursing process in accordance with the Nurse Practice Act
• Provide direct patient care and manage patient care plans to improve quality of outcomes
• Delegate and supervise nursing care provided by Certified Nursing Assistants, Nurse Aides, and Techs
• Identify and implement components of the nursing process, including teaching patients and families
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure smooth, organized, and efficient unit operations
• Maintain professional standards of practice and comply with regulatory requirements

Requirements

• Current, valid, and active LPN/LVN license in the state of employment
• Current BLS certification from the American Heart Association
• Current ACLS certification from the American Heart Association
• Valid IV Certification

Preferred Qualifications

• One year of clinical experience in a healthcare setting
• Three years of medical/surgical experience
• One year of area-specific experience in acute or long-term care
